Have you ever felt like God let you down? Maybe you feel like God's plans don't match yours and wonder if He has a plan for your life at all. Our disappointment just might be a divine appointment from Him.

Have you ever felt like you're waiting on God? His timing might always be perfect, but from where we sit, it can also be frustrating. It can even feel like sometimes, He's forgotten us. This past Sunday, Pastor Chris helped us to pause, reflect, and to re-up our dependence on Him. Remember, when it feels like God has forgotten us, while we are waiting, God is still working. Don't waste the waiting.

Being offended in our relationships is inevitable, but living offended is a choice. We can choose to live at peace with others instead of living offended. Pastor Chris reminded us in this episode of the 4 part series Missing Peace that Jesus didn't call us to be right, He called us to be loving. It's easy to be offended. What's hard is to look past the offense and love the person on the other side but, you can choose to forgive the way God forgave your sins so that you can experience the missing piece - peace with people.

What do you really want in life? Often what "we think" we want is different that what we actually want, which is peace. Kicking off this 4 part series, Pastor Chris teaches on how God has given us His peace through His presence. Peace isn't found in the absence of problems, peace is found in the presence of God. Wrapping up this 4 part series on 'Family Values,' Pastor Chris encourages to think generationally and to recognize the value of having a generational mindset. God has given us this unique opportunity in time where there is 6 generations alive at the same time. It is an opportunity to share values between many generations. The challenge is for us to commit to intentionally passing on the 'ancient paths', the good path, what we have received from God, to the next generation.

We cannot have a great relationship with God if our relationship with others are unhealthy - and vice versa! The beauty of the Gospel of Jesus is that no matter what we've done or where we've been. God's grace and mercy is available to all of us. And if our Holy, set apart God has called us to represent Him to the world, then one of the most holy things we can do that is by showing grace and mercy to others.

This week we are continuing in the series Holy Habits. As followers of Jesus, we are learning what it means to live a holy life that reflects and represents our Holy God. Pastor Chris unpacks the Holy Habit of practicing repentance this week. Repentance is a radical change of direction but it's not a weapon to shame you into changing.
