Yet, what are the things we are commonly chasing after that only bring us fleeting happiness, fulfillment, or validation? This episode will help to provoke thought around our pursuit of comfort. Our host culture goes to great length to avoid discomfort at all cost. God's has a whole different way for us to live. He comforts us even when we are going through pain and suffering.

It's not wrong to be famous, to be known, or to have things. Yet, what are the things we are commonly chasing after that only bring us fleeting happiness, fulfillment, or validation? This episode will encourage you to reflect on your micro-cravings for fame and being famous through a different lens. You will want to jump off the common treadmill and pursuits for fame in exchange for a fulfillment that only God can provide. 

Our friends Pastor Jeremy & Brandy Wolfram from Saints Church were in the house with us this Sunday. Teaching from the story of King David in how David exhorted his son Solomon to learn to "know your God, worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind." Pastor Jeremy brought a word to encourage and provoke one to lean in to ask God; Jesus, teach us your ways.

This Sunday Pastor Christ leaned in to teach on matters of the heart. We learned about heart conditions and heart blockages that prevent us from living a Spirit led life.  Our intent, thoughts, desires, and beliefs, come from the heart. Our heart determines and dictates our principles and practices. When our heart is transformed through the followership of Jesus, He becomes the boss of our daily rhythms, desires, passions, and motivations.  This is the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Chaos is brought into spiritual order.

Pastor Chris unpacked what it means to walk a Spirit led life this Sunday. We learned that each of us are created in the image of God and that our three-part design is of much more significance than we humans often understand. There is a spiritual order that is part of our intentional design and Holy Spirit is still in the business of reordering the chaos of our lives and culture back into order when we are willing to surrender to the process. 

Pastor Claudio is wrapping up the series "Suit Up" with episode 4 of a 4 part teaching series. In this episode we are learning about angels in the affairs of humankind. Angels are servants of God and their role is to protect, to direct, to minister to you and those you love.
